Duties of Oklahoma Dental Assistants
A Dental Assistant uses their skills working along with the dentist assisting with instruments and their sterilization. You will need to be able to reassure patients while performing procedures that may frighten them, including oral surgery and other procedures where suctioning is required. A Dental Assistant also manages the front office system of filing and record keeping.

The city of Lawton has fewer job opportunities but the highest pay scale at about $31,000 per year. Oklahoma City offers the most job opportunities with an average salary of about $30,000 per year. The city of Tulsa offers nearly as many job opportunities as Oklahoma City but the average salary is lower at about $28,000 per year.
