About the Program

In roughly eight months, United Education Institute can put you well on your way to enjoying a career as a dental assistant. UEI College’s diploma program that trains you in the foundational elements and the required skills for dental assisting.

In addition, the college’s career services will assist graduates with the jobhunt, through guidance with resume writing, preparation for interviews, and seeking out opportunities. Counseling and continued development of the traits that make a good dental assistant is also a part of the UEI strategy. The college works with employers to determine the kinds of things they want to see in an employee, so that graduates of the program have an edge when it comes to finding a job in the local community.

UEI College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), an organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Student Requirements

UEI does not require a high school diploma or GED for admission into the dental assisting program if you are 18 or over. Those under 18 need to have proof of high school-level education. However, prospective students should submit an application and schedule a personal interview with an admissions representative. The interview also includes a campus tour, and another interview with the school’s Director of Admissions.

Tuition Information

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, the 8-month dental assisting program from UEI College is estimated at about $14,000. Contact a school representative for more accurate figures.

Qualified students may be eligible for federal financial aid: subsidized and unsubsidized Stafford Loans, Pell Grants, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, Work-Study Programs, and PLUS Loans. Alternative loan programs and scholarships may also be available.
